Emma Pillsbury’s clothes and Colour Psychology: Red, White and Black combination

Symbolises: Trouble! Bad decisions, boldness

Thankfully Emma doesn’t wear the red, white and black colour combo too often but when she does, be warned. It’s an indication that she’s being bold and is about to make an announcement that could end in tears. Let’s have a look at these rare occasions:

Emma pays a visit to the boys’ change room to tell Ken she’ll accept his marriage proposal.

Giving Will April’s file so he can invite her back to school to join the Glee Club. As a result Emma gets vomited on, nearly run over in the car park and she almost loses respect for Will until he redeems himself at the end of the episode.

Emma asks Will to ‘do the nasty’ with her. Very bold for Emma. The poor thing ended up embarrassed and shoeless.

Emma confronts Will about his behaviour: 'You're a slut, Will.'

Will comes bearing flowers and an apology in Bad Reputation. Emma announces she can’t look at him the way she used to. And so begins the Emmaless episodes of the B9.

Maybe if we'd seen Emma accept Carl's marriage proposal, she would have been wearing red, white and black.

Emma makes a selfless decision that breaks her own heart.
