'The first time I held this hand'

If the first time Will held Emma's hand was in the shop with Emma trying on the bridal gown then I think it's a glorious link by RIB between the end of that scene and Will's line in the proposal when he says, 'the first time I held this hand, it felt like I'd held a it million times before, like it's always been there.' Remember how stunned he looked at the end of the dance and he just held her there, looking in to her eyes and seemed to be unconsciously stroking her hand as it rested over his heart? Now we know exactly what he was thinking. RIB, I bow to you. How could I be so slow picking this up? Sometimes I think RIB like to test us on how well we really know our character. Can anyone think of an earlier episode than this where Will took Emma's hand? Or, maybe, like a lot of Wemma development, the moment happened off screen. I like to think this was the moment though because Will's face says it all.
